DA-V100

Two-Readers /One or Two Door Access Control Processing

Product Description

The DA-V100 Door /Reader Interface is a two-door access controller designed to connect most types of readers available in the market that uses wiegand or Clock-and-Data interface covering the range of card and biometric technologies. The DA-V100 can either be configured for two reader heads on two different doors with optional Exit devices or configured to provide an Entry/Exit configuration for In/Out control on a single door.

It provides wiring termination for reader heads, door sensors, exit devices and electro-locks for up to two doors. A maximum of 16 DA-V100 or mixed with other Delta Interface modules may be connected through one channel of high-speed RS-485 communication link to the DA-V1000 Network Controller. The network controller provides two RS-485 communication channels. The DA-V100 features on-board flash memory allowing program updates to be uploaded via the network when connected to a DA-V1000 controller. The network controller communicates with the system host via industry standard TCP/IP protocol over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet or the Internet. This architecture minimizes the impact on corporate LANs by using only one TCP/IP address for every 32 DA-V100 interfaces effectively controlling up to 64 doors and by handling low-level reader transactions on the RS-485 network.
